About Me
Welcome! I'm Joaquin Franco, but you can call me Chino. I'm a software engineer based in Tokyo, with a passion for designing scalable backend systems, optimizing cloud infrastructure, and building high-performance APIs. I currently specialize in using Python and Golang, leveraging modern cloud technologies to create efficient, reliable, and maintainable software solutions.
Currently, I work at Woven by Toyota, where I focus on test automation infrastructure, API development, and observability to improve software reliability. My experience spans backend development, cloud-native technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and database optimization. By implementing automation and promoting a "shift-left" approach in software development, I contribute to enhancing quality, accelerating development cycles, and ensuring seamless integration of distributed automotive systems.
